About the project
A new music-theatre performance by the creators of the Veronika Deseniška musical.
This new music-theatre performance asks how famous composers would live and what music they would write today. Would women still faint over Franz Liszt and flee from an intoxicated Beethoven? Did Frédéric Chopin invent the situationship, and is Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart the most famous nepo baby?
The dynamic comedy moves freely between performance practices. It asks which classical giant would have the most bitcoin today, who would rule the charts and nightclub dance floors, and who would look for inspiration on online forums.
Above all, it shows that our need to mythologise genius prevents us from really meeting these artists. They are people like us who happened to write immortal music.
