Komedija o artu

Komedija o artu argues that entering the often “inaccessible” world of serious art does not require theoretical knowledge of history or form. It only requires one encounter with a genuinely fascinating work that takes hold of a person and shows that art can be a foundation of a rich and fulfilled life.

In an openly stand-up manner, the performance presents unusual works, analyses art from different perspectives and immediately tests theories experimentally. It never fully covers the chosen subject, contradicts itself in places and reaches no final conclusion, but it asks a series of questions. Is that not what art does?

The set initially looks parodic, yet is a serious visual-art exhibition titled Anthology of Visual Art.
